Welcome to the New Patient Center for Ahrens Valley Eyeworks
We understand that your time is precious and that you need an eyecare practice who will help streamline your time and make it convenient during your visit. In order to make the transition to our office smoother for you, we have created a New Patient Center with everything you need to get started. When finished, and prior to your appointment, you can either email a form to our secured email address at reception@ahrenseyeworks.com, or fax to (360) 794-5941. Thank you.
In an effort to make you more comfortable when you arrive at our office and to streamline the new patient process, you will be able to complete all the necessary items prior to your first visit. At Ahrens Valley Eyeworks, we strive to make sure the time we spend with you during your visit is quality time.

Insurance & Payments
At Ahrens Valley Eyeworks, We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Vision Insurance
The knowledgeable staff at Ahrens Valley Eyeworks is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits. Many current vision plans are designed to cover many of the basic vision-related costs, but not all costs associated with eye care. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment as well as additional costs that are sometimes not covered by the insured plan. We will go over these concerns, at time of appointment and offer many options working within your individual budget.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Many employers are offering Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options to employees. Sometimes these are referred to as Health Saving Plans(HSA) and are elective, supplemental insurance savings plans. These plans are designed to let you save money in an account, pre-tax, to pay for additional medical expenses such as eye exams, glasses, contacts, and often laser vision surgery. Check with the benefits administrator at your work to see if you are eligible for this program. These plans can typically be used in conjunction with any vision insurance plan to offset any out-of-pocket costs on your behalf.
Other Payment Options
Ahrens Valley Eyeworks understands that cost is a concern when evaluating vision care providers. We do not want cost to be an obstacle to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We will work with you in anyway to ensure we stay within your particular budget. We always have Sales ongoing, to help offset your needs. We accept various forms of payment and are able to discuss payment options with you prior to any examination or eyewear purchase.
